Does anyone have a good mechanic in ... 200 1986

Randy,

Sorry, I don't know a mechanic in that area. But, when I faced with the same situation and needed to do a bunch of work on my mother's car in Florida, I drove it to an Autozone, bought all the parts for a brake job plus a front axel and some front suspension parts, and installed all the parts in their parking lot. I got lucky that nothing went wrong with the job, so I was done by sunset.

So, that might work for him for jobs that he can get done in one day.

Charley
