Instrument Cluster, '92 to '86? 200 1986

Will an instrument cluster from a 1992 240 swap to a 1986 model 240? Plug and play or wired differently? Before you say no, let me explain. The swap would not include the speedometer unit, which is calibrated differently for the finer signal of the ABS tone ring in the rear. The '86 speedo would be used. I know the surface finish of the guage faces is different.

From some of Art's posts, I understand that the '91+ speedo sensor wiring colors are different. Would I need to swap a couple pins around?

Along the same lines, will the O2 sensor swap? FCP lists different Bosch part numbers, but it's still a three wire sensor...

Thanks,
Will
