PNP Switch V 90 S90-V90 2008

I may be wrong but I believe that confusuion on the outputs from the 3 small ESW switches can cause the same symptom as confusion on the PNP outputs. On the pre OBD2, pre 1996 960's (same as S90) there was a test procedure using the diagnostic readout light, button and jumper to test the operation of those 3 small switches and the various outputs from the PNP. Not sure if this is possible on the later OBD2 cars, others may know.
