I tried backing out the nut with the stud on it but there is a metal sleeve that turns also that seems to prevent the stud from back out? Basically the metal sleeve around the stud is loose also, so I can't make any progress. the nut will turn a couple of times then the stud and sleeve turn a few times (nut doesn't move) then the nut turns....process continues. Strange thing is that the nut doesn't make any progress nor does the stud.

I will try again in the morning and just keep backing the nut out. Hopefully the stud will come out. I will let you know how it works.
