Impressive photo set. Except for being a year older, you car could be a twin to my 68 130.

How did that engine ever get that much water in the block?

You might want to remove and save that B20E idle air control valve. Those are rare and really expensive. You seem to have the facilities to make a simple cover plate for the small opening left.

Your photos of rustwork frighten me. I've got a couple such bubbles on my fender...
