More Cruise Ctrl Questions 200 1985

After reading and responding to Irisius' 15 Sep questions about cruise ctrl prblms, to Art & all: My '85 has a mechanical speedo. The only thing I've done is last spring, relocated radio from upper dash to lower center location to install a gauge pack from a turbo. Had already wired in the volt meter & oil pressure gauges. Added a vac line for the boost gauge to use as a vac gauge only. Tapped into the cruise main vac line which holds solid vac. Traced wires from the cruise module to the drivers side harness where they disappear into a wrapped harness. The only thing I had the cluster out a ways for was to plug in a clock. Don't know when around those projects the cruise quit. Can't see anything disconnected. 12 volts present at the module. Vac hose from cruise servo to brake disconnect holds good vac. I'm puzzled what to check next.
