A Different A/C Question 200 1992

I usually don't pay much attention to all the A/C queries...

Just got a 1992 244 as a running parts car. It has a sticker under the hood saying the air conditioner system was converted to R134A. I have yet to try to ID anything. Looks like a '93 system to me, nothing like the old R12 compressor/hoses. PO says he charged it in the spring (read: it leaks). I could try to see if it works but the heater fan is trashed.

I have no desire to mess with AC on a 240 but a great desire to save as many parts off this car as possible. Should I be saving these parts for one of your folks? Or are all these parts common and/or not reusable?

Thanks, Will

PS: Sven's Maintainer, Rob Bareiss, if you're out there and need something let me know. I'm splitting parts with a friend so I really can't guarantee availability.
