Check the fuel pump relay

Hey Bill,

I would check the fuel pump relay. Its in a tray with other relays and the fusebox behind the ashtray.

This will show you where it is:

I would try pulling the relay out with the car off, whilst the pump is running. If you hear a 'click', then something else could be feeding the relay's coil. Another likely possibility is the contacts welded together, causing the relay to stick closed.

You may want to repost this in the 700 series section of the RWD forum. You'd likely get more replies.

Regards, Jon 'Uncle Olaf'
