Side window rubber seals are malformed how do I fix. 200 1990

I recently realized that both windows on the passenger side don't sit in the rubber seal like they should when the windows are closed. I don't know how they got this way the car is
fairly new to me. It seems as if the rubber seal was partially pulled out at some point and then not set in correctly afterwards, so that when the windows were closed it malformed the rubber somewhat. I have pulled out the rubber seal in the bad area to try to re-set it and it does not sit in the the grove the way it should and is cock-eyed. When I put the windows up it smashes the rubber seal into the frames grove, I don't know how long it has been this way.

Maybe if I pull the rubber seal out and set it on the glass then close the window it will set it correctly? The rubber section that is damaged is only about 6" long and located on the top center section of each of the two windows, the remaining length sits in the grove well.

Anyone ever had to deal with a simular problem.

Thanks in advance,
Joseph Segura in New Mexico
