Did volvo have factory security systems for an 88 740? 700 1988

I have had this car for 3 years. In the window there is a sticker that says Mirage automotive security systems. There is a red led that is on top of the steering column. When you shutdown the car there is a high pitched beep that emits four beeps. Does anyone have any info on this?
