Hard Start + New Volvo Owner 200 1990

First off, sorry for not posting an introduction. I attempted to post one, but when I clicked the hotlink, it just says "page cannot be displayed". Anywho, I'm a new Volvo owner and fell in love with the RWD models after I saw everything you can do with one. I bought a rust free, original owner 240 in Cleveland, OH. It runs great and has pretty low miles (137,XXX). Shortly after I bought it, I noticed it was a little difficult to start. The previous owner said it recently became a little difficult to start. When I turn my key, I always wait for the fuel pump to prime. I never heard the pump prime, and just assumed it's quiet. Am I wrong? I If it's the relay, where is it located? how do I test for fault? And even more recently, I started getting a service engine light on startup. The diagnostic thingy said it's fault code: 2-3-2 (Fuel system compensating for rich or lean air/fuel mixture at idle) Could this be the idle air control valve? the light goes away after about 3 minutes of driving, but at stops, sometimes it hesitates and if I don't rev the engine a little, it'll stall or attempt to. Any help will be well appreciated.

Thanks guys,

Kevin Bauer
