Large imbalance in air temp from front vents 900 1994

I have a recently acquired 944t with 209K on the clock. It has seemed like the left side dash vent blows warmer air than the other dash vents, so today I have some hard data to support that observation.

Heater control dial set to full cool (9 o'clock)
Airflow selector set to full dash
Engine warmed up to normal operating temp

Outside air temp: 65F

Left vent temp: 92F
Center temp: 75F
Right temp: 80F

So what can be causing the imbalance, especially on the left side?

thanks
