I have looked everywhere, but they are gone! Why would someone remove the ID plate and the accessory ID plate???? The chasis # plate is still there, painted over, but the other 2 have been drilled out and are gone?????

Where else can I find the VIN?

EDIT: I found the VIN stamped above the heater box, with a very thick coat of paint over it. At least it isn't a stolen car.
