heads 140-160

Hi B20 Paul. I live in Brisbane and have a late B20 8 bolt fly wheel engine. The engine was from a 1974 144E (K-jetronic FI). I have a set of Mahle +40 thou B21 pistons (93mm)& also have the correct head gasket for this bore.
I am interested to hear you say that these pistons are heavy and not a good combo with the M-rods. What would you use for rods with these pistons or are they really that bad?
I had been thinking of going down this track to increase the capacity but maybe should think of another option such as a Zetec engine from a Mondeo with a Type 9 gearbox. This engine is a lot lighter than the B20 and more modern. Coupled with a set of Yamaha R1 carbs they produce very good BHP.
