Don--painting within your household?--DON'T DO IT!!!!! -- A tale of caution--the car was a '73 144--the original paint (dk green) and primer had flaked off, leaving brown spots the size of a small pizza pan all over the body. The kids nicknamed the car "scabby". My cousin offered the use of his oversize two car garage. Despite our best efforts at sealing off the painting area-the rest of the garage took on a green tint. I've no doubt if it had been an attached garage it would have invaded the house as well. The roll on method sounds doable but very labor intensive. Years ago I assisted in the building of a Modified Sportsman race car used at the 5/8 mile dirt track in Middletown, NY (great racing). The painting method was enamel applied by brush. The paint was thinned and heated (in a double boiler) to near boiling. It went on and flowed out smooth. How about doing the sanding and prep yourself and having a paint shop apply the temporary paint? -- Dave
