89 Volvo 240 Defroster. 200

This is my first year at owning a 89 volvo 240. I live in michigan and in the morning I go to use my defroster and it seems like it makes the rest of my windows fog up worst then when they were.It almost acts like a humidifer. But I have no evidence of any leaks any where. It takes about a 15 min ride to defog the driver side windshield, about 1/2 hour ride to defog the passenger side windshield, and the rest of the windows never get defogged by the time I make it to work, (about 1/2 hr ride). My autometer brand, water temp gauge reads 195 degrees faren. I have awsume heat coming out of both defroster ducts, so hot I can barly hold my hand on it. I have the defroster button pushed in the floor heater button not pushed in, the heater control on max,air conditioner off (it doesnt work any way), and the fan motor on 4, and the dash vents below the radio shut off, and the side vents pointed toward the side door windows. Both front defroster vents left and right blow equally as hard, and it gets so hot in the car you have to open the window.what ever combination I try, I just cant get the windows defogged till I am almost to work and looking through an area on my windshield about 10" around, not safe. Do these cars just not defog well? or could I be doing something wrong? I can tell you this car has no problem keeping you warm inside. Any suggestions would surly be appreciated!
