Engine stumbles on acceleration but only first time after start up 900 1995

Check this out in the 700-900 FAQ's:

http://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/EnginePerformanceSymptoms.htm#NoStartFrequentStallorHesitationBasicDiagnostics

Specifically the "Hesitation on Acceleration; Several Diagnostic Checks" section.

It sounds like the issue for you is the transition from idle (closed loop) to accelerating (open loop) so there is the additional possibility that the O2 sensor heater is not doing its thing.

Start with the maint stuff if it has not been done lately:

Change wires, cap and rotor if they are old or age is unknown.
Clean the TB and IAC and chaeck very carefully for vac leaks if it has been more than 10K since you have done so
Check the FPR by disconnectiong the hose (not definitive) and smelling for a gasoline odor

If none of that works, you are probably looking at an O2 or AMM issue.
