1986 244 Won't Start 200 1986

I'm looking at buying a 1986 244DL for relatively cheap. However when I went to go look at it today, it wouldn't start. I found (much to my dismay) that the fuse block by the driver's side kick panel was soaked and all of the fuses were corroded. Of course I didn't bring extra fuses so I just dried off the fuses that you need to start the car (Fuel pump, etc..) and still the car would not start. There wasn't even any spark to the spark plugs. I took the distributor cap off and it was dry. I replaced the spark plug wires with ones from my 83 244 which work perfectly and still nothing. However I was getting spark from the distributor cap to the ignition coil.

I asked the lady if this was a common problem and she told me it starts, runs and drives fine when it's not raining but that it's a problem when it's raining...

Should I just bring a hair dryer tomorrow and new fuses and just dry out the fuse block, OR could it be something else?

Thanks in advance!
