flywheel (manual) install with crank position sensor 200 1989

Hi All,

Wow i have not written here in a couple years I think.

Anyhow volvos are working great, as expected. I am in the process of converting my 89 240 from auto to manual (surprisingly simple job actually). The doner car is the same year model.
I just have one question:

Before replacing the flywheel, I looked for some marking, figuring that the crank sensor needs to know TDC position; All I see is a section of the flywheel without "holes" or knotches for the sensor. I assume this is a 'marking'. I looked at the replacement flywheel I have for the clutch, and it too has a section without any "holes".

Q: As long as I put that 'hole-less' section in the same position as it was before, I should be ok for crank position sensing, correct?
Is there anything else to watch out for?

I hope my explanation is clear.

Thanks as always,
