How does this AT shift rod attach to the trans? 200

Thanks so much. I swapped out the mount, put in some new bushings and spread the end of the adjuster over the washer to hold it in place. I hope it's enough to keep in place; I gave it some hard tugs and it stayed put.

I had just taken the sloppy shifter for granted. I figured it was just old and couldn't be firmed up. I was so wrong. The new bushings make a huge difference! It shifts so much more solidly now. I can actually tell what gear I'm in. And with the new mount my exhaust doesn't bang under the car anymore.
