Thoughts on the 97 S90 S90-V90 1997

My thought is that at 140k miles, it needs a timing belt, tension-er & pulley's, and at that price, and the owner would rather sell it than put the money into it. You're looking at about $700-800 for a shop to do it. Also at that mileage the shocks are probably orig and in need and if not replaced before, are costly.

You should look for signs of coolant leakage at hose connections, and overheating, because if the records don't show meticulous change out of the coolant & T-Stat every 30k mi that's generally what happens.
Otherwise a great car, and if maintained the car would be worth it to go over and take care of all the maintenance it needs.
