Subaru, Off Topic, I need a cram course on Subaru 200

I am hoping someone here also knows Subaru, or can point me to a good Subaru bulletin board. I need a crash course in the dos and don’ts of buying one.

A friend that bought one of my Volvos ran into bad luck, and now wants a stick shift AWD Subaru wagon. Given the budget, we are probably thinking between 1995 and 2000 models. I said I would try to help her make a choice.

I dropped this note on the 200 section even though I have only had 544, 122, 740, 940 because it seems the 200 section is a bit more active than the others.

If you don't want to clog up the Volvo board with Subaru stuff, I think my direct e-mail should show up in the profile section?

Thanks,
Charley
