Single Arm Center Armrest 200

I found a tan center arm rest today at the pull a part. It was unlike any I have seen before. The rest mounted to the drivers seat via a single metal bar. It was hard plastic, had a little release button and would fold all the way up or hold any angle in between. I think it was on an 82 model.

Has anyone ever seen one like this? Do you know if it works for later models??
