Going to pickup my first BRICK today....89 240DL Wagon 200 1989

All,

While I'm not new to these cars (my daughter has a 91 240 sedan she has repeatedly tried to kill....and I & Volvo denied her), I swore if I found a clean wagon for sale, I'd buy it!

Well I made good on my threat. Found a "creampuff" 89 Wagon with 177K miles (just broken in for a Volvo) that wax super clean in and out. I don't yet know if we can attach any pics to these messages so I'll hold off to later. Got a 3 hr drive to get her home so I'll be getting acquainted with her today. The almost "Carolina Blue" paint which suits me perfect as I'm a Tarheel fan.

I'll be planning to upgrade with some IPD bars, some stiff springs/shocks to get her turning respectably.

The only damage I can find is both front doors seem to have the inside door panel pocket broken (bottom of doors), and the glove box lock mechanism is missing. Any aftermarket for these items?

thanks,

Duane
