Rich condition update 700 1991

Here is what I have found. Lucid's "Full Rich & Full lean tests for the O2 sensor/ECU response work great. Mine passed muster as I suspected.

My fuel pressure is 40psi w/ my manifold vacuum of 20 inches of Hg on the FPR. O2 output is 0.02 VDC. Yes I was lazy & assumed 40 was close enough to 43. The O2 sensor doesn't think so.

If I apply a vacuum of 9.0 inches of Hg to the FPR I get a pressure of 43psi & a normal sweep of the o2 sensor (0.1-0.9VDC)

The FPR passes all tests from the Volvo Green book except the 43psi output w/ manifold vacuum applied.

On Tuesday I will confirm that my gauge is reading correctly.

So I'm going to order a new FPR as both my spares don't work any better.

I have a question. What is normal manifold vacuum for a B230FT?

cheers ian
