Anyone ever install a cruise control unit?

My 1988 245DL manual wagon doesn't have it. My previous 1982 manual 240DL sedan had it and it was great.

I'm thinking of checking out the JY to see if I can find one. Any suggestions or difficulty precautions would be great? Seems fairly straightforward according to the service manuals.
