I think that if the transfer case on the Toyota is a separate box from the transmission, it might be a reasonable job because you could modify the drive shaft use a Volvo transmission. If they are not separate, getting the engine mated to the Toyota trans is likely to be a pretty big chore. If someone makes an adapter to mate the Volvo engine to the Toyota trans, it would be much easier, but may get too expensive.
