Sanity check - HS6 mounting angle 120-130

Quick sanity check request - a stock 122s manifold for HS6 carbs have the carbs tilted up at an angle pointing up from level.

I ask because the rebuild kit for the HS6 that I'm currently rebuilding has Viton needles that don't appear to allow for adequate fuel flow when mounted level, but appear that they'll be fine if mounted at the angle for the manifold I have.

Any coaching to pass along?

BTW - there was an amazingly well sorted, and driven, 122s on the SoCal TT over the weekend. Pic below. Inspiring car and owner.
