shift lock microswitch / solenoid : where do I get one? 200

Hello there Bricksters:

I am fairly confident that the mentioned microswitch is acting up in my 240. It's a 1991 with 193k, and the AW70. It's a sedan, and it's blue (this is a car talk joke).

When the car is cold, it takes a while to get it out of PARK. At other times, no problems. This is worse on cold days. It seems to help to rev the engine a bit, but this may be superstition. I can actually hear a click from the shifter when it's ready to go.

The brake light fuse is ok, and the brake lights work instantly, I have watched many a time when my wife was starting the car.

So, am I right, is it likely the switch? And, am I right, there isn't much one could 'fix' about it? And: where can I buy a new one? Did not find it at FCP, IPD, nor VLVWORLD.

I would appreciate your advice!
Boerre
