befuddled running poorly/no start 700

Alright, it's a 1990 740GL wagon. Regina system. Had been running gloriously up until this summer. It's my brother's car. Midsummer, the beast started having cold start issues which progressed to the car having serious problems right off idle. When taking off from a stop sign, the car would hesitate most of the way through the intersection, then the engine would start functioning properly.

The car has sat in my driveway now for a couple months. I just got to it today. Trouble codes were only 2-2-4 (coolant temp sensor faulty). I put a new coolant temp sensor in, cleaned the throttle body and IAC motor (tested that and it functions well), and replaced the air filter. I also discovered one of the pins to the cold start injector was pushed back in the clip. I fixed that.

The car will not start at all anymore. There is spark and lots of fuel coming through the line. Guesses? What would cause such issues without any codes coming? I am befuddled, which is a rare occasion on B230's. Could the cold start injector cause such problems?

Thanks for any and all thoughts!

Nate
