Seeking wisdom- 240 taillight issue 200

My '84 240 Wagon has got a taillight problem, and I don't really know what direction to go to try to sort it out. Both brake lights work fine, but the turn signal on the passenger signal doesn't. Also, both reverse lights don't work. The weird thing is, when I put the car in reverse (it's a manual trans) the rear passenger turn signal goes on. I know it's neither the bulbs nor the fuses. My bentley manual just came in the mail today, so I've only begun to dive into the wiring diagrams. Can anyone out there offer me a clue?
