Dear p700walk,

May this find You well. You're welcome!! I took a closer look at the Volvo Vadis 960 window lift diagram. I think the filler strip - in a single piece - goes into the lift rail.

I can't see any need for rivets, unless you detach the motor from the regulator. There's no reason to do that.

The auto glass specialists should be able easily to seat the glass for You.
