mounting OEM roof rails ? 900

SOMEwhere (here I think} I saw a post saying that a 940 wagon is fitted at the factory with the mounting points/nuts for roof rails, even if the car was sold without rails.

Does this sound accurate?

If so, my guess is that I'd need to remove the headliner to find the nuts before drilling the roof to install OEM rails.
