Clunky steering 140-160 1972

Ive noticed on the 145 that there is a slight clunk that I can hear and feel through the steering wheel when I rotate it counterclockwise about a 1/4-1/2 turn. It is most pronounced when the car is parked. I'm presuming that it is a bushing, but before I go crawling around I was hoping that someone might have a pretty good idea of what the most likely cause and repair is. Looking for direction as I will be troubleshooting on my own.
