Engine Mount replacement 200 1993

My method is to lift the engine with a jack under the pan (block of soft wood)enough to be able to unbolt the entire mounting, at the engine block and the cross member. replace the bush on the bench, then re-bolt to the engine block.
Then slowly lower the engine, engaging the three bolts in the cross member, levering through the holes from underneath with a screw driver to get alignment.

That way even if the engine has moved a bit out of alignment, you can still squeeze the bush over enough to get the bolts in. If you are just trying to align the bush bolts themeselves there is less movement and the positioning is more critical.
