fire! almost...... 1800 1964

Now that I've got your attention. I've got a serious gas leak coming at the end of the gas line going into the first SU carb bowl. It's leaking quite a bit right onto my header. Even I know not to drive it in this condition. My friend (mechanic) worked on this a couple of weeks ago, and it's been running fine. This same issue just began again yesterday as soon as I fired it up. I've put new bowl gaskets in both carbs (before) my mechanic worked on it, and that didn't seem to be the problem. He said he tweaked the jets a bit. He say there is a small hole in the top of the bowl where gas can leak out, if it needs to. I was wondering if I need to replace the gas line. It has been fine, but I don't know how old it is. He didn't think that was the problem either. Does anyone have any suggestions out there? Thank in advance, for your help with this.
