New Header Pipe and possibly a Catalytic Converter...Suggestions? 200 1990

State inspection is in Dec. (no emission test needed).

I need:

1. Header Pipe (no EGR and I need it with a fixed flange)-I was thinking about the Volvo part from IPD ($150)

2. Front Muffler & Axle Pipe (I figured I would get Starla, but I think I remember someone on here saying the Volvo exhaust parts from Tasca were less $$$)

3. ***HERE IS THE PROBLEM***-pretty sure I am probably in need of cat. converter (way back a mechanic put in faulty O2 sensor and it was running rich for a long time. It is not rusted through but I have a feeling that it is dead.

I need one with fixed flanges, no EGR and I need it to have O2 sensor hole.

As I have searched this forum I have seen all the info about cat converters and header pipes not fitting correctly. So I need suggestions on what works/fits correctly and doesn't fall fail after two years!

I might tackle this job myself, but I don't know about those pesky header pipe studs and dropping and replacing the entire exhaust system as I am somewhat of a beginner in DIY.
