Loctite on Suspension Bolts? 700

In the past few weeks the Control Arm Strut (Radius Rod) to Control Arm bolt has come loose on both my ’85 740 and ’88 780 (I could turn them by hand). After tightening them, the one on the 780 came loose again about two weeks later. Two questions:

1. When tightening the bolts to their torque value of 70 ft. lbs. it seems like the bushing are being compressed so much that there’s no pliability left in them – does this seem right?

2. Should I use Loctite on these bolts? If so, blue or red?

Thanks,

Michael
