La Carrera Amazon 120-130

It's now Day Seven, the final leg from Zacatecas (way up in the mountains, right on the continental divide) to Nuevo Laredo (on the Rio Grande near sea level). The early stages are twisty mountain roads, the later stages are dead straight where the cars can reach top speed for miles at a time.

Going into today, Apple Farmers are 1st in class and 16th overall. 2nd in class and 19th overall is an Alfa Giulia Super, four minutes and two seconds behind us. The Alfa had technical problems the first three days, but has been consistently faster than us the past three. Can they run today four minutes and three seconds faster than us? Probably depends on which car has more top speed...
