Klaus,

It is pretty common for that style of air filter housing to have a nipple on underside the bottom plate, and located on the clean side of the element. If yours does not have one, you could install one. I think they are usually about 3/8-inch diameter. You might even find a "knock out" on the bottom plate where a nipple would be located.

I don't think you can hook directly to the manifold without a PCV valve or some type of restrictor.
