I seem to recall using one of those goofy screwdrivers with a 90-degree angle to either get them out of there or reinstall them. (I don't recall which; the windshield was out either going in or coming out.) It probably doesn't need to be pointed out, but they were a lot easier to install than remove. Good luck!
