Anyone know the proper brake bbleeding proceedure. 200 1988

for a 1988 240 non abs.

The Bently says left rear, left bottom front, right rear, right bottom front, left top x 2, right top x 2. This doesnt make sense. I fugured the front first and the rears last, because the mechanic at volvo said if I replace the rears only I Only need to bleed the rear but if I replace the fronts the while system needs to be replaced.
