New plugs, wires, cap, rotor--still missing/smells of fuel 1990 245 200

My wagon has, for some time, run very roughly in the morning when started. At first, it would occasionally run poorly for a short time (feels like a miss--heavy vibration and a strong smell of unburnt fuel) and would soon start running smoothly again. At first, this would only happen on the first start of the day, and usually when it was cold and damp.

Lately, it probably starts this way (poorly)3 out of 4 times, and and does not "smooth" out once running for a while. Now, it will often bog down when accelerating from a stop, but it never quite stalls--just won't get moving until it "clears its throat". As I have no service history, I decided to replace the plugs, plug/coil wires, cap and rotor (Bougicord and Bosch parts). It has made no difference--first start was as bad as any prior to replacing the parts.

The smell of unburnt fuel tells me that fuel is getting there--but maybe too much? I was leaning towards some problem in the parts I replaced, but that hasn't helped. Mileage is approx 200k miles.
