How to unlock a Locking Gas Cap 140-160

Don!
They can be picked but they are a pretty sloppy lock so it isn't easy.
They have plates rather than cylindrical tumblers. You may have to pick both
sides.
A lower security "fix" once you get it open is to insert the key you want to use and then
file the plates flush with the outside of the lock cylinder.
When you take the key out some of the plates will engage.
