A wiring repair question. 200 1989

Hi All,

I have an 89 240 wagon that has been stalling randomly recently. I've sucessfully tracked the stall down to lack of spark due to a faulty blue wire between the distributor and the computer next to the passenger side wheel well. I'm sure some of you are familiar with the big plug that contains 8 or 10 wires that this blue wire is part of. It's pretty clear that because the blue wire is a bit longer than the others, it has kinked and I'm losing signal between the distributor and the computer. When the car stalls, it won't restart until I jiggle this kinked section of the blue wire. I need to figure out how to remove/replace this damaged section of wire, but I'm not sure if I'm able to remove it from the plug and replace the wire individually. Anyone else have experience with this one?

Darius
