89 245 - how to replace 5th door wiring harnesses 200

My 89 245 has both wiring harnesses (thru the hatch door hinges) failed, so I have non-functional everything on the hatch.

Purchased the Scan-Tech replacement wiring for each side.....obviously without instructions.

Read somewhere that the upper termination is under the head liner, but termination where, near taillights? Pretty sure I can get into the 5 door to find termination of all wires, but where does the origination points exist? Partial opening of headliner required? I'm hoping to use the old wires to "pull thru" the new ones....but depends on which end is which I suppose.

Advice, please from those who've BTDT.
