b18 spec question 120-130

3.502 is certainly within acceptable limits for standard bore on a B20.
Original size is just short of 3.501.
Does it say B18 or B20 on the left side of the block?
1968 B18s are probably the same block casting as the early B20s.
In any case if it is B20 bore size you should also use a B20 head.
If the widest part of the combustion chamber is less than 3½" across it is an B18 head.
This can give you problems with too high a compression ratio.
Also B18 heads have 11/32" valve stems and seals ABOVE the retainers.
B20 heads have 5/16" valve stems and seals on the top end of the valve guide, inside the springs.
Cam probably has been replaced if it has non standard valve gear.
Stock cams would be C, D or K.
IPD sold Isky VV71 cams, sometimes marked as "7001", their catalog number.
