Air filter box electrical wire, where does it go? 700 1989

I have some issues with the boost on my '89 turbo 780 and I'm trying to sort it out starting with the hoses and the air filter box. When I took the air-box out I found one wire not connected to anything (see photo 1). I can't find any connectors where this wire would attach to. Does this have anything to do with the turbo+?

And in picture two: Is this hose connected to the right nipple?
