1991 Volvo 240 General Questions from Newbie! 200 1991

Hello. I am a two time owner of Volvo 240's and I have been deeply in love with them for a long time. My current car is a 1991 240 sedan automatic black/black with a sunroof completely free of rust or rot. I have a few questions that I have been wanting to ask for quite a while so here it goes!

1. Are 240 sedan and wagon doors interchangable? I know of an absolutely mint black DL wagon in the scrap yard that I would like to take a door off of.

2. The same car has (p)leather interior. Would the front buckets fit in my sedan?

3. In what years did the 240 have the fog light option? Is it difficult to install a pair?

4. When I am on the highway, my engine sounds like it's working too hard. How can I tell if my OD is broken? How do I fix it if it is?


I apologize for my lack of general knowledge, but how else do we learn this sutff?! Thanks.
