b18 spec question 120-130

Hi, It has what looks like perfect circle seals inside the double springs,having never driven a volvo 122 with a B18 or B20 I would say that it felt pretty spiffy, I mean seemed to have pretty good low to midrange pull, but at 5500-6000 it was it quit pulling,I was hoping to put something together for up to 6500-7000, yet still has some driveability, you know its the age old compromise, race car ,street car or both. What do you think about keeping the B18 head vs. going to a B20 head.
